Taiho Pharmaceutical Launches PITAS Cool Troche S, a Remedy for Bad Breath That Can be Used Anytime, Anywhere
Taiho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced today that it has launched PITAS Cool Troche S in pharmacies and drugstores throughout Japan. PITAS Cool Troche S, a designated quasi-drug, is a remedy for bad breath that can be used anytime, anywhere. PITAS Cool Troche S is the fifth product in the PITAS series of troches, which stick to the roof of the mouth and can be used while talking.
According to a survey conducted on people in their 20s to 50s across Japan, up to approximately 90% of respondents answered that they were concerned about their own or other people’s bad breath.1 PITAS Cool Troche S is a bad-breath care product that can be used anytime, anywhere, without worrying about your surroundings, such as in situations where a person is worried about their bad breath but cannot brush their teeth, gargle, nor chew gum.
The features and advantages of PITAS series products—a thin film-type troche that sticks to the roof of the mouth, with each troche individually packaged in an aluminum sheet that is convenient to carry—are maintained in this new product. It gradually melts in the mouth, sterilizing and disinfecting the mouth and one can also obtain a refreshing feeling with the mint flavor. The product can be used for one’s own bad breath that is bothersome when wearing masks, as well as out of consideration for others in various business situations.
Taiho Pharmaceutical will continue to create a chain of “smiles” by exploring people’s true needs and creating innovative products to meet such needs.
