Environmental Performance

Taiho Pharmaceutical confirms its performance on environmental targets, seeking to effectively reduce the environmental impact of its business activities. Here, as well as in our material balance and environmental accounting, which quantifies the environmental impact of our business activities and provides an overall picture of environmental impact, we list the changes in various environmental data by item.

Environmental Targets and Results

This table shows the results of various efforts to achieve targets. Going forward, we will continue to promote further initiatives to achieve the Otsuka Group's 2050 Environmental Vision of “Net Zero” of reducing all environmental impacts from business activities to zero.

Taiho Pharmaceutical is working to reduce these environmental impacts and to ensure proper management.

Water consumption: In fisical 2025, water consumption was 123,000 m3.

Water consumption refers to the amount of water that does not return to the water source again, such as by being taken in as part of an evaporation or product. This is an important index for assessing the impacts of water use on the water volume in the downstream areas and water shortages on the watershed, including aquatic ecosystems.
